After the zoo I picked up Curtis and we met everyone else at Steak and Shake. I felt bad because I drug him out and Emma literally screamed the entire time. Bless his heart. He held her as long as she wasn't screaming. She finally fell asleep for a little slumped over in his arms. Darla got a picture I think. Ill have to steal it and post it. Hope Curtis didn't have to awful of a time. I pretty much kicked him out of the car though when I was dropping him off. I wanted to stay and visit but Emma was again screaming. I kind of gave him a half hug and leaned over the backseat to give Emma a binky. So much for that! I think he understood. Let's hope so at least. I don't think it was how he intended on spending his evening though! THEN, my navigation apparently was taking me the "shortest" route, and not the "fastest" route because I ended up in scary residential St Louis! A 15 min drive turned into almost an hour with a SCREAMING baby! I called Margie about to cry and her and Dan figured out where I was and got me home. The gps worked. Just not exactly how I wanted it to. I would have gotten there eventually. When we got back to the house we packed up because we decided to leave at night so the kids could sleep. The drive was long...............

Saturday Day 27 St. Louis Zoo Day!
The weather was SO pretty today we decided to check out the zoo! Maddy had so much fun. It was really annoying though because it closed at 5 but everything started shutting down at 4 so Maddy didn't get to ride the carosel. She was bummed. That's ok though.
