Oh my stars. Maddy made me so mad today. It was my fault though.
Mistake #1: Giving Maddy Kool-Aid
Mistake #2: Thinking it was ok since it was in a sippy cup.
Mistake #3: Attempting once again, to pee by myself. You'd think I would have learned not to do this right?
Well, just as I was rounding the corner into the TV room I see Maddy spit RED (Mistake #4) Kool-Aid onto the Buells WHITE carpet! Not to mention her sweater but that was the least of my worries. The sippy cup only keeps the drink inside the cup until it gets sucked out. From there its my own problem! She was so proud of herself! How did she even learn that?! Well, 2 hours, 1 migraine, many phone calls, multiple towels and cleaning products, and Im sure a few choice words later I had it out to a light pink. Definately still visible though. When Deeann got home I made maddy apologize and Deeann said they were taking up the carpet after the first of the year and putting down hardwood. How funny is that? It was still tramatic. For everyone involved. The entire time I was cleaning it up Maddy could tell I was upset and she kept saying, "whats wrong mom mom? you ok mommy?" I tried to explain it to her and she grabbed a rag and started blotting. She said, "its ok, I help. It be ok mommy. I love you." And she kept giving me lots of hugs and sat with me until I was better. I love the empathy she has for others already. I hope she continues that through life. I just hope it doesn't become to heartbreaking later...

More puppies. This time they have blankets.
Some bows are just to big for babies heads despite what some people think. IMO at least.

Also adorable. This is BEFORE the kool aid incident. As you can see, the sweater is clean.
