Jan 13 Day 73

We met with the county nurse today. Since we are in the middle of nowhere they have a county nurse to take care of shots and things. She also runs a lot of the state programs like WIC which is why we were there. Hopefully they can help us offset the cost of this crazy expensive formula Miss Emma requires!! She made me feel really good about the decision to switch to formula though. She said she could tell we were on the right thing because when Emma threw up it was just formula and it wasn't curdled like before when I was nursing her. And there wasn't any crying at all. She was SUPER happy! Always, lately. And she still has sleeping issues but that's ok. We have some habits to break. Plus, we weighed her and in the last 2.5 weeks since she's been on formula she's gained 4 LBS!! And grew 2.5 IN! Can you believe that? She's a chunker. Definately glad we switched. It is a pain in the butt to keep up with all the supplies but it's worth it to have such a happy, pain free baby.
