Today we are just trying to get a little better organized. I made a grocery list, meal list, and a bunch of other stuff. Emma didn't go to bed until about 4 am so I was REALLY sluggish this morning. I decided to take the girls on a run to try to get some energy. It didn't give me more energy but it didn't make me feel better. I think were going to have to run on the track though because Maddy didn't like the terrain of the dirt (well, mud) roads. She kept yelling at me to slow down. Her exact words were, "Slow down mommy! You'll hit that cow!" We didn't get more than about a mile though before Maddy was insisting we go back and have a snack. We did turn back though, its still really cold here.
We were watching Maddys new favorite movie, "Spirit" today and she looked up at me and asked, "Mom mom, where'd the daddy horse?" I told her I didn't know. She said, "He's working in Iraq."
