Before Shots
After Shots
"Bye Mommy! Bye Mommy! I gonna play trains now. Bye Mommy!"
I feel like someone just ripped my heart out. I just dropped Miss Madison off for her first day of preschool! She could care less that I left her there. Of course I was the one hesitant to leave. I had to give all the instructions, where the diapers were (I wish we were potty trained, but they help with that) when I'd be back (like it was different for me than everyone else) her schedule, where they could reach me (like they care) and varies other things as the teachers were basically pushing me out the door saying she'd be fine. She was such a big girl. She woke up this morning asking if she could go to school. And take her pack pack, and her tinkerphone cup, and play. She was so excited all morning. She ate her breakfast. Got naked and put on a song and dance show with a microphone (I have video but its kinda innapropriate for the internet) and was so excited! Im really bummed though because Sam is picking her up. I have to take Emma to get her shots. UGH.
When I got home however, it was really nice to get some quality happy time with Emma. She was SOOO happy. We played on the floor with her playmat and just talked. I took some adorable video. And a couple pictures. I really don't want to go do these shots.
Survived the shots, barely. Emma took it harder than I'd hoped. Although she slept all afternoon. They make Maddy cranky and awake but YAY! Emma apparently gets sleepy! Then I dropped Maddy off at Gmas and FINALLY got to go see that movie with Sam. Hilarious! Couple Retreat.
Oh and Maddy has started this "Don't EVER touch it!" phase. Not sure I like it. She sticks her hand in your face waving as she says it. No, screams it. It's hard when shes yelling it about her sister though, "My sister! Dont EVER touch it!" How do you listen to that one?
